Thread: Okay...time to see who's the smartest here...

  1. I scored a 127, and was labeled an "Insightful Linguist."

"The first thing we can tell you about that is you have the natural fluency of a writer and the visual and spatial strengths of an artist. Those skills contribute to your creative and expressive mind. But that's just scratching the surface."

I guess that's somewhat accurate, because I do enjoy English a lot more than Math and Science. And I'd have to concur that those "complete the saying" questions have no place on an IQ test.

  2. I scored a 127. Superior Math skills, "precision processor".
I thought I did better than that, but since I'm college educated (and over 25) I think I was graded against a harsher curve.
My last IQ test 7 years ago, I got a 135.

    What is considered average anyway...?

EDIT: I just did some web browsing and apparently in England the average IQ is from about 100-116 depending on your age.

For 20-34 year olds (my age range) the average IQ is 107.

Other sites I visited revealed the average IQ to be about 100-105.
As evidenced by the IQ scores in this thread, TNL members ain't stupid.

  3. #63
    Either that or they're lying.

  4. 131 (Word Warrior).

    I got a 126 years ago.

That means gaming is making me smarter!.

  5. I got a 126, but like Werewolf said, I looked at the review and they said I put down the wrong answer when I didn't.

That really illegitimizes the whole thing.

I've never taken an IQ test before, but it seems like some questions are ridiculously easy while others are absurdly abstract. I guess that's how they are, though.
Well that's like, your opinion, man.

  6. 131
