From what I've watched of XPlay, it's a damn good show. I've seen them do previews for games like P.N O3 and Chaos Legion, while G4 just keeps going on and on about cheats and halo 2.

Plus, the XPlay hosts aren't incredibly stupid.

Satsuki was right, Starcade is the only good reason to watch, I love when the dudes choke under pressure and do extremely bad, lol.

Extended Play was a good show. X-Play is bottom of the barrel in comparison. They say the dumbest things, most of their segments are not funny, although try to be and the whole show lost the light and fun touch that made it cool to watch.

It's horrible to think these are the best offerings of gaming related television on TV. I actually enjoy Electric Playground quite a bit but it always seems to me as though Victor Lucas has his hand in the wallet of Microsoft or soemthing. He ALWAYS gives Xbox games graces in comparison to something like Nintendo. I don't take Tommy seriously but he says a lot of peccimistic things, which is his role, I presume. Sometimes the show is pure trash, but not recently from what I've seen. They don't do reviews on the run anymore either, I guess it's because they're on G4 tv. But they were always pretty solid. Now they do Gamebreak which is alright, they review things like the iPod, comic books and action figures.

My friend got G4 and invited me to watch whenever I wanted... I have yet to actually see the channel. Why watch games when I can be playing them? Silly.

I've only seen G4 through the Xbox Exhibition disc, and it didn't look too bad. Not something I'd watch on a regular basis, maybe something I'd watch instead of infomercials.

And I don't want to. If staring at footage makes me want to play them, that's a bad thing since I obviously can not. Of course, I don't find videgame footage entertaining by itself. I only watch it to see if a game is worth buying or just being interested in.
