Gah, I cant believe I didnt notice the similarities as I played a hell of a lot of Shadow back in the day. Thanks Johnny.

  2. I really wanna play the PC Engine version of Ninja Gaiden.

In other news, the NG strategy guide that just came out has a very comprehensive history section in there covering all the various versions of NG. There might have even been one or two that Neo didn't add, but I doubt it.

  3. I wish Tecmo would make Tecmo Super Bowl for the GBA or something. I still play it for the SNES frequently. I noticed Itagaki was the graphic designer for it. He still sucks, though.

  4. Star Force... That was the first Tecmo game I ever bought, it is hard as hell, I can never get past Stage I or whatever those greek alphabet stands for. It was one tough shooter.

  5. yes. nice post. ive been a fan of Tecmo for years. i have very fond memories of Rygar and the original Ninja Gaiden.

while they arent Team Ninja games, lets not forget to mention the Kagero/Deception series and the Fatal Frame games. niche games for sure but both really cool series imo.

i really do like Team Ninja's stuff though. ive been a rabid fan of theirs since DOA2 on the DC. yes, that includes DOAXBV
