Thread: Aqua Teen Hunger Force to DVD!

  1. www.TVShowsonDVD.com is reporting that there will be a third volume of ATHF released in time for Thanksgiving, along with a second volume of Space Ghost Coast to Coast.

You mean the Mooninites are gonna have their own show?

Also, the Aqua Teens first appeared on an episode of Space Ghost. I've seen that episode, but it was after Aqua Teen Hunger Force had aired, so I thought it was a parody of them. Guess not.
This was part of the commentary on the DVD?
Well that's like, your opinion, man.

When the fuck did the 2nd one come out, and why don't I have it?

the new insane space ghost(where they say fuck a hell of alot) pwns

    fuck home movies
    fuck oblongs

but...i will give it up to the creator of the oblongs for creating one of the coolest "this should be on a shirt" images of all time:

  5. I love Aqua Teen, but the shows are either really, really good or really, really shit. The one with the wisdom cube, or whatever it was, had like one good line in it, and the rest was worthless. I think their earlier episodes were some of the best, but Ghost of Christmas Past (from the future) is by far the best episode ever.

Sealab is cool, but it usually isn't my thing. I really like a few episodes (Bizarro, the robot body one, Waking Quinn), but most of the shows I could take or leave, either way.

Harvey Birdman I used to hate, but now I love. Reducto (or whatever his name is) absolutely cracks me up. And the Shoyu Weenie episode was just classic.

Oblongs, good god do I hate that show. That show, to me, is another Duckman.

Home Movies I like, but then again, I've always liked the stuff from that crew. I can see why some people might not like it, though.

C2C is still fun. The two absolute best episodes are the "Retardos" one, and the one where Randy Savage plays Space Ghost's grandfather. That episode was so funny it was scary.

I'm not sure how the new Aqua Teen spin off will work out, but as it includes four of the best supporting characters ever in the history of the show - the Mooninites and the Plutonians - I'm looking forward to see it either way.

Brak Show does not suck. Oh and the music clips from that episode can be found here:

    I ripped em meself.

  7. Vol. 2 hasn't been released yet, it was just delayed to right around my b-day. shidosi, I'm pretty much with you on ATHF in terms of how the eps work out. Seasons one and two were fantastic, but season three saw a HUGE drop-off in funny episodes. They went all-out for it in terms of episode count, and the show really suffered, with some episodes just not being funny in the least. Some of them do get funnier with repeat viewings, while others simply don't.

I agree. Though I can definitely see liking one of them over the other, or having preferences of seasons/eps, I don't see how you can like one of these shows, and not at least appreciate the others.

Anyway, I really, really want to pick up the ATHF DVD. I want the others as well, but ATHF is definitely the priority.
Buy Yakuza and Oblivion. Help yourself, help TNL.

  9. Omni- that's what they said. But, like I said, they very well could've been kidding. I haven't looked into it, but last week they named some new shows for the fall, and I didn't see it listed.
ATHF 2 and Sealab 1 dvds are coming out in June or July.
