This is way up there on my most wanted list, I'm so glad Ubi is bringing it over. Ape Escape is one of my favorite PSOne games, hopefully this carries over the same charm

As did I, and the best level is the "Enter the Monkey", the different types of RC cars are really great to. The only thing the characters said that I actually understood throughout the entire game were two words..

At it's time the first one was the most innovative use of the dual-shock ever. It was the first game that it was ever necessary to own a DS controller for. If you didn't have one, you couldn't play the game. The controlls are mapped to movement with the left stick, and swinging your various gadgets with the other (In any direction, hence the DS necessity). Nearly every review was filled with nothing but praise, and I can't really think of a real negative besides some scattered camera issues.

The Ape Escape series really is one of the most plain-out FUN games you can play. From the silly atmosphere of catching monkeys with a net to controlling the RC car (the best gadget ever in a game) to the real challenge of play, Ape Escape certainly isn't just a kids game.
