It's raining in my bathroom ...

Holy crap! It was pouring in my bathroom but it has finally slowed to a light shower.

Apparently there is a pipe that burst above us. A pipe that goes to the pool that was being filled up!

Crap, that reminds me of the time my toilet tank exploded when I was gone for the weekend and flooded my place as well as the apartment right below mine. The guy living there was also out for the weekend. We both had a ton of water damage - my entire carpet and floor had to be replaced. Luckily the guy downstairs was cool about it...but my landlord was pissed that he had to foot the bill for the repairs. One of the good things about renting...

I'm just happy no pipes burst above the videogames or PCs. The bathroom and kitchen can handle water.

Bleh. And now it smells like wet plaster and dog food here. Gross.

Look on the bright side, instead of having a pool somewhere else, you've got one in your bathroom, now.

That sure does suck, though.

On of the benefits of living on the top floor is that I have none of these worries .

It is the top (17th) floor... but the pool is on the roof.

Something I learned today.... In French they say... "the pipe farted". It's either that or their butts "burst" when they fart. I am not sure.

That sucks. About a year ago, the water hose connected to the toilet upstairs broke off from the wall, flooded the bathroom and bedroom, seeped through the carpet and flooded my room (leaving a nice stain on the ceiling). Water also got into the apartment below. Luckily there wasn't any water damage to belongings.

Water damage is horrible... you're renting the place. Right?
