Games you can 1-Credit

Doesn't just have to be shooters.

Um I really haven't devoted much time recently to perfect my Gameplay on one particular title, but I recently was able to 1 Credit Legendary Axe 2, though it wasn't exactly a tough game to begin with.

I could get thru Aztec Adventure SMS without dying, showed my ability off to a small group of friends, they were bored by the time I was done though.

Fantasy Zone SMS was one I could 1 credit also.

Haven't tried any of the really hard Nes titles yet...

My crowning video game achievement was finishing MegaMan 2 without dying.

I also beat Metroid, Zelda and Zelda 3 in one go, but I don't know if games like this really count.

Try the arcade version. BRUTAL. I managed to do it on 5 lives with the extends set to low recently and the difficulty on easy, but it was by far the hardest thing I've ever gotten through in a game. For a long time I really thought the final boss rush was unbeateable, but I've learned how to get through it with a very particular selection of weapons. It's insane though.

Anyway, I can 1-up Zero Gunner 2, After Burner, Space Harrier, and a ton of console games. Console games really shouldn't count. There's others too I can't remember. Oh yeah, and X-Multiply.

Well, I didn't list fighting games because there are too many variables (difficulty, number of rounds, damage level) and it's not much of an accomplishment to beat them on one credit anyways. I always thought it was damn impressive when people could beat shooters in one go.

Fighting Vipers at the arcade. I used to get $2 worth of tokens and beat the game 4 times just to put my name into the ranking. (One credit was 2 tokens where I played games.) Every time I could beat it on 1 credit, no matter what the difficulty.

Wait a sec. I thought you couldn't beat the game w/o losing one life fighting that boss with all the walls in Wily's Castle

Oh and as for Games I can 1-Credit I can do MvC2 easily.

Every Zelda game except for part 2 - which I heard gave you a different ending or something if you were able to pull it off <flips the bird at the local rumor mill>

A whole bunch. Off the top of my head:
Contra (NES), Super C (NES), Operation C (GB), Contra: SS (PS2)
Maximo (SNES)
Earthworm Jim (SNES)
Battletoads (NES), but only once. It was amazing.

I once beat Zelda 3 in one run so my save file would say 000.

And I don't believe Zelda 2 has a different ending.

I don't remember the part you're referring to, but I definitely beat it without dying. This was one of my most-played NES games, so I got really fucking good at it.
