don't get me wrong, halo 2 looks great, but:

    halo

    halo 2
    f-zero x

    f-zero gx (ax?)

Wow, a Cube game is more of a step up from a N64 game than an Xbox game is over an Xbox game. Amazing!

I think Halo looks grand. If it was made by Sega, every TNLer (where's their 'Halo killer' btw?) would wet their pants and sacrifice 5 lambs in Sega's name. If Nintendo made it, TNLers would call it 'gayer than Sunshine' and call it a day.

    Again, looks good, but...

I think F-Zero looks good but not the OMFG LOOK AT IT good some people seem to feel.
It's all about seeing this thing in motion. Whereas Halo runs at 30fps, and Halo 2 does as well (so far), F-Zero's 'wow' comes from being blazing fast. It runs 60fps without ever getting the jitters and the nature of the game means everything burns by at an amazing rate. You may think it looks 'good' - I know I did - but seeing in motion and playing for yourself is a whole other experience from screens and internet clips.

    isn't it?

it's just surprising to see an ultra-stylish f-zero game is all. halo already esablished its general look and feel in the first game, so new screenshots don't have the same impact.

  5. Dont get me wrong though, I WILL get this for sure. I was just pointing some stuff out thats all.

If they get the music right I'll be happy. I DEMAND remixes of Mute City and Big Blue at the very least.
