What is Your Favorite Sports Movie....?

My favorite sports themed movie is without a doubt, Hoosiers.

This classic basketball movie from the 80's (takes place in the 50's), starring Gene Hackman as the coach, Dennis Hopper (alcoholic father) and a cast of relative unknowns (on the b-ball team) is simply a great movie. Especially if your a basketball player/fan like I am.

For those who haven't seen it, the movie is about a high school basketball team from a small rural town in Indiana that makes it all the way to the state championship. I won't tell you if they win or lose that final game.
The movie is based off a true story, if I'm not mistaken.

Forget about BNB, little Corey Feldman was in them. The coach giving the players beer in the dugout is classic.
The girl on the team always reminded me of Jodie Foster, its been so long since I've seen BNB maybe it really was Foster.

Real good movies......The first was the best one......
