that is a pretty good review. i like how you wrote it, with the contrast between the single-player campaign and the online play.

i actually think the single-player campaign is really good. i mean it's not halo good, but i'm having fun with it. i try not to save throughout each level, relying only on the check points, so it adds a lot of tension to the game. overall, i think it's a really good FPS.

please people, if you want a WW II multi-player extravaganza, go dl DoD, its free, and its better than RTCW. Its better than your mother. you waste your money when you buy x box games that were ported from much better pc versions. Dont buy anything for x box untill Soul calibur 2 or halo 2 come out. you will be disappointed, and you deserve to be.

Give me one good reason why i should fork over $50 to play a ported game on a console when i could save my money for two games i know im going to like. Sorry i dont have money burning a hole in my pocket.

i bought rtcw when it first came out for the pc, and i had my fun with it, but im not about to go out and buy it for the x box as well as get an XBL kit just so i can do the same thing i was doing a year ago.

So no, im not a fucking moron, im a person who cares about the quality of the games i buy.

Isn't DOD a HL mod which requires you to buy HL?

As opposed to RTCW:ET which is...completely free.

Hey YAWA, nice review. I too have played many games in hot, cramped rooms in the name of privacy...glad to hear multi-player is such a blast, I think I can get spartan300 in there for some decent missions.
Right now I'm debating between RTCW or Soldier of Fortune 2...both are $35 at best buy, I'm just debating on game-play style. Check out my thread in the game discussion forum and give me some feedback.
