Not drawn specificly for this thread, but I think it's got a nice summer theme to it.

Hiten - lovely lineart, especially with the varying thickness of the lines. Her right foot looks awkward, but I'm guessing you just ran out of space on the page there. I'd say her head looks a little too big for that body, but that's really nit-picking. She's definitely curved in all the right places though.

Mechdeus - You could draw any of the 3rd strike cast in a swimsuit... all except Hugo. That would just not be allowed.

Jester - You picked a difficult pose, but managed to pull it off well. Though knees aren't that small in real life and considering this is Chun-li her thighs should be much bigger.

rezo - the image is so relaxing I think it would make a good cigarette ad. Her left wrist looks broken and with legs that long she should play basketball, but those are minor quips. It reminds me of more classic art, probably because the character and the setting seem to blend together so well.

Furyfox - I can't believe you did that just for this board. It looks like a proffessional piece, like promo art for a new monthly comic. It's the kind of thing 14 year old boys would pin to their walls and drool at. As for comments... the bend in the tail looks unnatural to me and... umm, the water effects are lame.

I like your piece. Having seen some of your other art, I can sort of place it stylistically with what else you've done, and she's pretty cute. I think the b/g could be photoshopped a bit more, though, to blend better with her style. I also think it looks a little funny for her shorts, shirt, and sleeves to all have the same saw-tooth effect...it makes it look she did it on purpose. I can see it for ripped-off jean shorts, but it might be overdone. There's also a bit of white between her stomach and shirt, but no biggie.

I'm still amazed by the fact that you stuck five figures into a single composition and made it work without anyone looking horribly disproportionate or out of place.

Thanks! The background was just sort of slapped in there. I have about zero talent when it comes to photoshopping things and getting them to match up. She did probably cut them on purpose, but yeah I should have tried varying the effect more, just being lazy. Though the whiteness is actually the interior of the shirt, why it's the same color as the collar.

Heh, no problem, I wasn't too pleased with the water myself, but, I had to work it somehow. You should see my cover art, then, I had to stick 10 characters in that piece...however, it was easier because they were just sort-of floating in front of a background, and some were stylistically cut-off or really close/far from the scene. This was harder because they had to be sitting on the background.

Also: I figured it might be the inside of her shirt, but, I always end up missing sections like that so I thought it may be the latter. You don't have to be much of a PS wiz to give the b/g a more cartoony look though...I'd just play with the filters.

Maybe the prize wasn't spectacular enough to warrant any other submitters...? Whatever happened to virtue being its own reward? -I was at least expecting another MS Paint masterpiece from 88mph...

Hah! Didn't know I could finish it today. Here's my contribution: (and as per usual, this is a TOPLESS pic. Don't look at it if you're under 18! This one is particularly offensive to fragile minds (methinks) as I've added pusling VEINS to the breasts. Gross, I know, but I've seen this kind of thing before so there it is . Seriously. Don't look at it. Don't. Even if you ARE 18, wait a few more years. Did I mention the veins are green? Now THAT'S just sick! No? Oh, well...)

MrDandy, I somehow knew someone was going to do that eventually. Nice work, despite the joke and the fact we all had to look at "hulk bulge." He only seems to have four toes though...and I'm not so thrilled with the background, but the inking, coloring, and original pencils are all really cool. If he's that veiny, though, he'd probably have some in his ankle/calf area too. I really like his face; very expressive (for the Hulk).
