I'm looking around for any kind of program that will let me type something out and the computer will speak it...
Well, I read the text, on top of the thread title. I just didn't quite grasp what he was trying to say in his text. No need to harp on about it, damn.

Here's one- http://www.texthelp.co.nz/typeandtalk.html
It's a demo version, but hopefully it will still be of some use to you.

I have download six programs since I saw this thread. None of them work on my PC.
I really wanted to make unique logon wav files for everyone on my buddy list.
For example: "Oh shit, its Icepop... put up an away message quick!"
88, mind listing the names of those programs so Rick can get more info?

I tried that awhile back with "Say it 2000". But, I never really figured out how to save the wavs, so I just have unique entrance music for everyone on my buddy list.Originally posted by 88mph

Buddy List for TNL or AIM?
well, wavs just have to be saved in the directory that that program pulls its own wavs from. Now, depending on the program, you should be able to change the default sounds to the ones you save.
I made one of Dracula dying (in SotN) everytime I shut down the computer. That was funny for 3 seconds.

I tried most of them. However, my pc is odd when it comes to sound, so they might work just fine.
Just not for me.
