Nice to see VJ is not a flop.
Evidently, Capcom didn't make enough copies of VJ in its first print run, thus creating a shortage.

They issued an apology of sorts on the Viewtiful Joe Website.
    Good luck with the translation.

Guidance about the software for game cubes "beautiful Joe"

Thank you very much for patronage-receiving product of our company in everyday life.
Now, about the software for game cubes "beautiful Joe" put on the market on June 26, large popularity is gained luckily and the run out state continues in some stores.
ります which is performing additional production now so that we can send goods to a shop front early, and will not perform re-shipment one by one early in July. (Please ask for details a direct-sales store)
Although I have made trouble very much to the visitor of whom purchase is expected, I ask you to wait for a while now.
In addition, I will carry the comment from a "beautiful Joe" producer below.

Many opinions "it does not sell although he wants Joe" are brought near. As a producer, I borrow this place and do an apology.
although it is sold out and it is a delightful talk that it is store successive occurrence, considering your feeling, be openly pleased with the situation where it does not arrive to a user needed -- it does not become precocious it waits -- making -- very much -- I am sorry, there is confidence which offers only the fun for which ... waited I think that a reproduced part will die together with a shop front soon. I ask you to already wait only for a few.
The fourth development department of ■■■CAPCOM "Viewtiful Joe" producer Atsushi Inaba ■■■

Although I make you trouble and it is not explanation, I need your help well.

Actually the 750 was from last week, it sold 4,400 from 6-23-6-29.
The 4,400 was more than the Xbox had sold in the past 5 weeks combined.
Apparently they released some Dino Crisis/Xbox bundle or something, which surely had alot to do with the rise in sales (relatively speaking).

  6. Damn, Sega is really bringing the pwnage to Japan lately, they've been kicking ass Oh, and great to see VJ sell well. I'm sticking out for the domestic, though I dunno how much that went into the sales.
Buy Yakuza and Oblivion. Help yourself, help TNL.

Yeah, I hope VJ importers didn't cannabalize U.S sales to much. I doubt it though. I'm guessing maybe a few thousand of those 47G were imported copies. Many importers are hardcore and might buy the U.S. version anyway this October.
