Part 1 is leagues better then part 2. 2 was a really cool game but I hated a bunch of the areas in it. I love every inch of SMB 1. It just seems to be perfect. I never did finish the Lost Levels. I think I need to dig out my Mario All Stars and kick it's ass.

hands down it's smb2 all the way. so much crazy shit to do that wasnt available in smb. you could hit multiple enemies with a veggie, then jump and grab it out of mid air.

AND it had WAY more exploitable glitches in it than in SMB(yes, even cooler than jumping over the flag pole on 3-3).

with so much more to do, it was just a better experience. that and the characters were alot more diverse(not just the playable guys, but also the baddies).

How is SMB2 harder than SMB1??

I was young then, and I must've sucked, since I can do it in my sleep nowadays, but beating SMB took like 3 years of off and on playing. SMB2 took like 2 weeks.
