Depends on what you define as "famous".

My brother is a widely acclaimed author, photographer, naturlist, and "tv/radio/newspaper personality".

I've been to book signings with him, and it's pretty crazy.

Outside of his demographic though, I'm not sure how famous he'd be.

Sam Levine, actor of the short-lived "Freaks and Geeks" on NBC and playing a bit part in "Not Another Teen Movie" went to my middle school and a few years of my high school. He's the short kid.

I went to junior high/high school with Danny Tamborelli who was in The Mighty Ducks and played the young Pete on Pete & Pete. He was also on All That for awhile. He's the fat white kid with red hair.

I also went to HS with Chris Simms (Phil Simms kid). Hmmm...about 6 years ago a girl and her boyfriend killed their newborn son and dumped him in a motel dumpster. That was a nationwide story iirc. They were 2 years ahead of me.

As for me, I went to school with a girl who had a cameo in the Horse Whisperer, but that's hardly famous. And I worked with a dude who claimed to of dated Piper Perabo or whatever her name is from Coyote Ugly.

So I guess the answer is to the question would be no, for now at least, most of the people I went to school with are still in college.
