I generally have more tolerance for rude but somewhat funny images as opposed to naked verbal assaults. But that could very well be a mistake on my part. I tend to have a high tolerance for sarcasm, so I tend to let a lot of things go, but that might not be best for the community.

I will say that, first, this thread, and then the long threads here and at Neomega have really made me think about our standards of conduct and whether or not they're acceptable.

ive noticed that theres a select few that dont contribute much at all to the community and just bring a lot of threads down into STUFU newbie wars. its getting really tiring.

Mairu has been asking for the ban stick for quite a while, he rarely posts anything without a veiled or outright insult included. He isn't really trying to be witty or sarcastic either.

I have a tendency to lash out when I see something really stupid, but I honestly try to curb this.

i mistakingly stepped into his one review (which is now like 3 pages of flame at least). i was harped one time for "pulling a thread down" because of my comments but it happens in like 75% of every other thread from select "others" and its fine. kinda pisses me off.
