  2. Xbox

  3. I personally like the Cube controller the best for FPS games. It's also 20 bucks most places now too, although the other versions could be too for all I know.

  4. The PS2 has nice controls, but I believe the XBox version is pretty much superior in every other way.

Yeah, the PS2 and Box are both $29, and the Cube is $19.

    I'm not worried about price.

  6. The Gamecube and Xbox versions are pretty much interchangeable. Go with whichever system has your preferred controller. I own the Cube version.

I didn't even consider purchasing the PS2 version, because I didn't want to buy a multitap.

  7. I'm guessing the audio and video fidelity on Xbox is best, only a guess though (but its framerate sucks omg </kbuchanan> )

Controler prefrence is subjective, use past experience on the systems to determine which controler you like better for such games. You already know the prices, so from there I suppose it's easy to choose. I don't know, however, if custom soundtrack is allowed on the Xbox version, though the save w/o memory card is nice (jugleing mem cards bites).

    I say Xbox personally.
    o_O

  8. Xbox surround sound beats all for me, since the graphics are about the same between it and the cube. There is an annoying glitch in the Xbox version though, when it displays your awards at the end of a multi-playrer game, but it's nothing important.

If you don't have surround sound, though, cube or box is probably fine. Xbox hard drive for custom map saves is nice though.

TimeSplitters 2 to me is the smoothest FPS ive played next to goldeneye. I own it on PS2.

AFX: Im sorry, but the GC controller is HORRIBLE FOR FPS GAMES. DOWN WITH THE C STICK AIM!

  10. I haven't seen any sites so far noting any differences between the versions graphically. If the GC version is the cheapest then go for it, you've got nothing to lose, in fact I bought the GC version as soon as I saw it hit 20.

The controller is mighty fine for it and the graphics are smooth as silk.
