I normally wear 34x30 but can get away with 32x30. Neither size seems to be in high demand.

How tall are you, anyway? My biggest problem with jeans isn't the cut, it's getting the height/width ratio right. 31/33 just isn't a popular size, I find walrus-jeans all over the place but it drives me nuts finding stuff my size.
Anyway, I resign myself to pulling in the waist a bit. Not a lot, once I've done some searching, but there's no two ways around it that I had to pull it in some. Beats short legged jeans, at any rate.
6 feet, 135 pounds. I'd say you have no idea how much I hate clothes shopping but I get the idea that maybe you do.

I wish rama would post here more often.

5' 7 1/2". i also have a bit of a problem with button down shirts too. i wear a small, but sometimes i with they were just a little smaller...but at least i can be comfortable in a small. yeah, i like clothes shopping allot, but it's just frustrating sometimes when you can't find something that's just right. usually with jeans i'd buy W30/L30...but, agian, depending on the type they are....Originally posted by James

If I have jeans that are a little bit too long I just sorta walk the excess off. But then again I haven't had to do that in quite a while. You could also always cuff them... it's something I wouldn't do but I don't really mind others doing it. I wear a 38-36x30-32, and they are pretty loose in the waist, it all depends on the brand.
This reminds me that I need some new jeans.
