How much do movie tickets cost you?

I've noticed that there is a big price range on movie tickets from a couple posts. So guys, how much do you throw down for a movie? Me? $5.75 w/ student discount.

$7.50 evening, $5.50 matinee, $4.50 students, seniors, and children.

I generally pay the $7.50 or $5.50, unless it's at the theater where I now work in which case it's free.

Thirteen freaking fifty $cdn. That works out to about $9 usd. The price has gone up like $5 since all those 10 theatre uh...theatres went up. They just raise the price 50 cents every 6 months. Suffice to say, I don't go to see too many movies anymore. Spending that much to see Attack of the Clones just leaves me angry, bitter, empty, and out about three lunches worth.

They recently went up to about $8.25 at all the Regal's down here, I forget what it costs at the Carmike though.

main reason why i try not to go into the city to see movies.

$8.50-10 depending on where you go in the 5 boroughs. matinees are 4 and change, and theatres that show movies that stopped playing a long time ago, run about $3-4. but you'll be hard pressed to find any of those nowadays.

Well, Most of the time we try to catch matenee shows, since we I go with wife and DJ and evening shows can get quite pricey.

So in that day time its $6.50-5.50 depending on the theater and in evening its $8.00-8.50.

In New Jersey, I go to a theater which has tickets at matinee prices for $4.25 and normal price is $6.50. In NYC I get raped at $10 a pop.
