Whenever the commercial comes on, I change the channel. I don't want to see anymore of it until I see it this weekend.

I didn't say that original BB was bad at all, Despair (I liked it), I just didn't think it was that big a movie. They're acting like BB2 is a new Star Wars movie or something...
Exactly. I read 5 reviews and they all been positive, and mentioned some grazy action and alot of blood.Originally posted by Rumpy
The hype around it has really grown. The stunts and violence are supposed to be something else. It's sounding like a real balls out action movie, the kind we havn't seen an quite a few years. When people get shot, it actually looks like they get shot, no "AH!" and then they fall over a couch out of view. The stunts and destruction are set to jump over what T3 set down. All the press so far has been really positive.

What can be really spoiled in this one? Unlike commercial for MR that practically showed every action scene in the movie, BB2 only shows a few scenes in short glimpses.

Bad Boys/Bad Boys II is this generations Miami Vice.![]()
Cept its a movie.
I actually think these idea's would work better in a TV series. Everyone has something good to say about Bad Boys's 2 so I might actually bite the bullet and rent this when it comes out.

Now A Positive review for a change. This guy knows how to enjoy an action movie

"Their movie overflows with drugs, money laundering, profanity, car crashes, flying body parts, buckets of blood and, yes, squeaking rats busily making more rats."
My kind of the film, except for the screwing rats part.
And yet another good review praising the film:

well... from Ebert that type of review is to be expected. To be honest I think he has a lot of interesting things to say and if nothing else makes you question something about a film that I normally wouldn't have noticed myself. Hell I was actually pleasantly surpised when he gave Pirates of the Caribbean a good review.
No offense, but I'm not buying it Despair...every review I've read has panned this movie hard...I haven't seen so many 1's, 1.5's, and 0's since Freddy Got Fingered. Not only is it plagued by all the problems that were evident in the preview, but apparently it's a mess of racial jokes, gay-bashing, cadaver-mutilation, and excessive gore (like, exposed brains and the like). Not my thing at all...I'm not even going to bother renting this one.
