Thread: Sega AM2's new game - Macross

  1. BattleCry had everything that the game needed, it just failed to be good in any of those ways.
I kept playing and playing for hours when I first bought it looking for that good game under all the faf. Never found it.

Oh yeah I forgot about that. Pretty decent game, I loved the redone cutscenes though.

Hmmm...same as every other 3d Macross game. I hope they manage to pull it off though. And why is battloid mode never allowed to fire missles? They do it all the time in the show.

  4. I really doubt this one will be coming our way though. I believe TDK or whoever it was that published Battlecry owns the NA rights for Robotech/Macross. And they've got their own new game coming eventually. Still, I can't help but hope. Any Robotech lovin is good Robotech lovin at this point.

  5. more screens are GAF

  6. This game looks cool as hell. Let's hope that the crazy AM2 teams have more to do with it than we're led to believe.

    What about the arcade version?

  8. Macross Plus on the playstation was pretty good. Not great, but decent enough.

  9. How many times do we need to get new hopes for a good Macross game?

Its kinda cool that Sega is doing a Bandai lisence- a glimpse into the alternate reality where the 1996 merger actually succeeded...

  10. So, did anyone get this game? I just did and I'm stuck on mission 2. Anyone play through this? Or atleast get past the second mission?
