    This fucker is out?

When the hell did that happen?

  2. In 2003. Import only, and it looks like it's going to stay that way.

Well first off are you playing the TV storyline(Prometheus) or the movie storyline(Armd)?

I'm gonna assume your doing the tv story mode so if your stuck on mission 2, it's prob the end part. Basically, after you do the space section and go back to Earth, once you've killed enough gimps in the air,the Macross will initiate the fold countdown(There should be a time limit now and a purple reticle on the Macross showing your distance from it).You just need to fly and land on the Macross. Mission complete.

  4. So is it any good?

  5. I'd like to say yes, but I'm not that deep into it (obviously). The game looks and sounds that part. Control takes some getting used to because each of the three transformations plays so differently from one another. As it becomes second nature I'm sure I'll be tempted to aquire as many S-rankings as possible.

Basically I fight above earth. I blow a few ships out of the sky and then there is this time limit counting down from 100 or something. I see no purple arrow, but I've repeatedly landed on the mother ship to no avail.

Perhaps I'm supposed to kill a required amount of enemies. But I took down a ton of them.

    **sigh** the joy of imports.

For the most part. It's like they took Battlecry and fixed almost everything bad about it. The controls, graphics, mission design etc.. On the other hand, the replay is so so at best and the game is around 6 hours max...

They did manage to turn Bodolza's giant head into a boss fight in dyrl mode which was good for a laugh.

    edit:

Hmmm...I just did the mission and here's how it played out. Fight in space, kill everything. You return to Earth, and kill everything in the sky. After that you get a mission update. At that point the purple target reticle was immediately on the Macross(There was a new wave of enemies too but I ignored them) and all I had to do was fly all the way down and land on it(Landed in Battloid mode) and the mission completes even with tons of time left.

Just to make sure, it says Stage P-02 right?

  8. I did it. Thanks, dude.

The only thing I don't like about the game is that I never feel like I'm dog-fighting with enemy. The circle button seems to be the primary weapon, which is fine, but I wish I had the feeling I was chasing them down, not spinning in a loop holding down the circle button.

    But it's still early.

Also, the 6 hour videogame is not something I fear or dislike as long as the experience is worthwhile. Macross looks like it could be.
