Hmm... it does look more like a fighter than a beat-em-up after all. I hope I'm correct in that guess, since when a new Samurai Spirits BEU was announced, I felt a bit underwhelmed. Interested, no doubt, but not as much as a new Samurai Spirits fighting game.

Anyways, I consider the term 'beat'm up' to include the genre of versus games like KOF etc, so sorry to anyone that I mislead this way. However at a certain point I also thought it was gonna be something a la Final Fight, and IMO wouldn't have been a bad idea. Ah well, wishfull thinking I suppose. After all, those games aren't made alot anymore are they?

Beelzebubble from the shoryuken.com forum is reporting that the 'redrawn Kazama twins' are new characters entirely (probably Bust variations), and the regular Kazamas are in the game as well.
