I ran a search on Cinemania about this show, and it may be a little bit out of place, but I think it still fits under the cinemania better than any other forum. (24 has its own)

Anyway, I have recently been watching this show at night and it is the funniest show I've seen in a long time. Larry is one poor fellow, always ending up having his plans somehow ruined before him. Last night I saw the one where he became a car salesman and I was laughing throughout the whole thing.

I also saw the insest episode and thor 14 and those were awesome as well. He was playing cowboys and indians with the kids in the car infront of him (doing bang-bang signals, etc.) and the car stopped and a huge wrestler got out and told him that he's 250 pounds of twisted steal and kick your ass to the curb appeal.

Man. Anyway, I just wanted to start an official thread to talk about the show and what you think about it, and in a couple of months what you think of the newer episodes, or episodes you originally saw.

One of the funniest shows I've ever seen, and the HBO freedom helps make it even more funny.

My girlfriend loves Larry David, and she always watches this show when it's on. Weird. As for me, I think it's okay.

I find it hilarious, especially when he tries to help people and it never fails to end in him somehow being convicted for his otherwise innocent actions.

Some scenes are just him bickering! lol.

Like when he went to pick up that guys clothes and his wife was talking about fetishes and stuff and people kept accusing him of having a big ass fetish. This was his huge concern, that he would be blackmailed with if he ever got a divorce from his wife.

It was awesome.

I agree that this is one of the funniest shows on TV. Larry David is the reason the show so good. He's strangely amusing.

I've only seen a few episodes but I really like what I saw...

I'll have to check out HBO's schedule and try to catch the show more often. Larry David is hilarious.

I use to watch it all the time but I forget when its on (I need to sit down and make a schedule of all the shows I need to watch). I did catch the last 10 minutes of the thor 14 episode, I didn't know what was going on but I was laughing my ass off, lol.

The one episode that I remember the most is when he went to the movies with a friend of his wife's and while sitting down the crotch of paints was lifted like he had a hard on and she looked at him in disgust, lol.

Definitely. I also love how he's always taken aback whenever somebody says that George is a bumbling idiot. I saw some commercials and tonights episode seems like the Halloween candy one where his yard is ransacked because he wouldn't give some girls candy (too old.)

Seinfelds humour is apparent in this thing, and to me it's on the level with Seinfeld. I love the baptism episode as well when the Jews vs. Baptists or whatever it was. It was hilarious because the Jews were conspiring with Larry after they thought he ruined the baptism. They're like:

"You can tell us, you're with friends now." Then he single-handedly ruins his wifes neices wedding, and later on he gives her boyfriend the advice to dump her. He ends up sleeping in the car.
