...and Jerry McGuire, My Big Fat Greek Wedding, and basically every Julia Roberts movie I've been dragged to.

Well, "loved" might be a strong word, but I definitely liked them more than I thought I would.

  2. I actually liked My Big Fat Greek Wedding too. Watched it with my wife, and we had a good time.

  3. The Wedding Planner... I never watch chick flicks, but this was acceptable.

Also, Serendipity. One of the reasons being that I believe in Fate.

heh - that may be true, but I've learned from personal experience that once you get past that 'label' and just watch a film because it looks interesting, you'll find that alot of those chick flicks are not that bad. Alot of them are, but the offbeat looking ones usually surprise you in a good way. I thought Chocolat was a chick flick, but realized it was completely different when I watched it.

  5. I wouldn't say I loved them, but the only 2 movies that I oddly liked were Amelie and Million Dollar Hotel.

  6. I'll add another vote to Big Fat Greek Wedding. I knew it would be good, just from all the acclaim, but I didn't think I'd like it. It was well-written and entertaining nonetheless.

I used to watch that movie WEEKLY when I was a kid.

Wasn't there some type of pseudo sequel to it?

  10. Judging by the comercials I never thought I'd enjoy American Beauty but it's one of my favorite movies of all time.
