  1. ACCOPS: Something really ludicrous

    http://www.wired.com/news/digiwood/0,1412,59654,00.html

$250,000 and 5 years in prison for uploading a file on a P2P network?

How would you spell Big Brother if this draconian bill passes? A.C.C.O.P.S. (Author, Consumer and Computer Owner Protection and Security Act of 2003).

If someone lies on a domain application, they currently lose their domain. ACCOPS would make that a felony. Losing the domain is punishment enough.

Reps. John Conyers Jr. (D-Mich.) and Howard Berman (D-Calif.) are the corporate "Sieg Heilers" and totalitarianists behind this. If you live in these states, vote against 'em.

Although publishers are entitled to their copyrights, this would be going way too far.

    Finished in 2021: 8 games (PC: 4, PS4: 2, PS3: 1, X1: 1)

  2. Does the location of the P2P network matter? Like if I used DC++ and people who are grabbing files from me are in Sweden? They mentioned something about Internation Copyright laws though this bill is situated in the US...

Can't we focus on fighting SPAM? I got 9 emails promoting vacation packages, air filters, and other crap... and I'm afraid to unsubscribe them for fear of getting more SPAM...
