Found a pretty funny R-type (and DDP Dai-ou-jou, a stage 1 dot eater movie is up among other things) site, Link.

Nothing spectacular but the mix of shmups and hentai is pretty funny if nothing else.

Good cover, but it'd be better without the yellow bars. The yellow bars/white background combo just don't look that good together. Maybe a rich sky blue?

looking forward to it big time. i liked what i saw quite a bit, and im looking forward to checking out that music again.

seriously, if you like shmups, the gameplay isn't gonna blow your socks off or anything, but it holds up. it's definitely worth getting for the aesthetics alone. game has awesome style.
