I considered getting one of those, but they cost about $60-70 more than other access points/routers using 802.11g. Besides which, my Powerbook is a 15", so it only does 802.11b. I ended up buying a D-Link access point/router for $80.
Wireless access is great... just make sure you have WEP enabled so that not only your wireless transmissions are sent encrypted, other people can't use your access point without permission. ("No, sir, I don't know who was downloading all those movies... whatdya mean, I'm still responsible?!")
Granted, WEP is a terrible form of security and can be broken in hours if enough network traffic is sent over the interface, but it's better than nothing. :kirby:
