I dled the Popanime link, but it only got 2/3 of the movie. I'll dl it tommorow. Nitpick- I don't like how Bats sounds when in action, he doesn't sound like a grizzled maniac, just some normal dude:/

Two bits from Superherohype that I like-

The Doc also has more human pathos than Spidey's first movie opponent, Willem Dafoe's Green Goblin. "I never considered Doc Ock as a madman" — unlike Goblin, Raimi says. "He just gets his priorities out of order. He's ruthless, but I always thought of him as sane but misguided."

That puts the nail in the coffin for the over-the-top villian bit. No silly power ranger this time.
They also said MJ will be going out with JJJ's son, the famous astronaut. So maybe there won't be an abundance of ackward teen drama that plagued the original movie.

edit: Very nicely done short film.

I dunno if its the best Batman film ever but its without a doubt better than the shit that came after Batman 2 (the first Batman movie pretty much owns everything that is a comic book based movie)
