Thread: toughest game boss

  1. Hiruko (Shinobi) and Gill (SF3)...I hate Gill the most...
    Freedom is a road seldom travelled by the multitude...

  2. GGX2, Dizzy's story mode, I-No Boss fight. She hands your ass to you because of her CPU special attack, its increadibly annoying since if you lose that fight you have to go back and fight the other 6 or 7 people before that one.

    DodonPachi's Bee Boss....any of them.

    Any Boss in Smash Tv...:}

  3. I had some epic battles with some of the bosses from Vagrant Story, although many of them were more endurance tests. One fight with a dragon took me forty minutes before I barely won. The Final Titan was a pain because you'd chain and chain him and do only one point of damage - it was only when your chain started hitting 15-20 or so that the damage started adding up. I think it took me over an hour to beat him.

    I've only beat the top-floor Chrysler Building boss in Parasite Eve once. Again, that was also a long process.

    The final boss of Crimson Sea took me a long time to beat, but that's because I was severely underpowered, I discovered afterward.

    I think I died more on Phantom I in DMC more than any other boss in the game....on Normal, that is. Nightmare on Hard & DMD is a pain indeed, but I was fighting the camera as much as the boss, especially during Nightmare III. Nelo Angelo III is also a bitch.

    This thread is making me fear Shinobi - I'm not looking forward to the final boss.

    I hated that guy. You had to TATE up the things in the air, but a) you'd always get hit by one of them and b) the corridor was so tight that you couldn't aim your jump that well, and be too far above or below the next target.
    That boss was cool as hell though. It took skills to beat him. That's so cool that he could tell where you were if he hears or feels your movements in the water, so you had to do some mad wall jumping and fighting. Try attacking him in the water and he would just kill you in a few hits.

    Mr. Karate in AOF1 I found near-impossible, not to mention the fact that you have to actually play AOF1 for a good amount of time before you fight him, which is painful in and of itself.

    Hell yes. FUCKING BIRDS!
    Damn those old NES days when most games had no level saves.
