It's not blow everything up without using a bomb like every other cave game?
It's just sequential. The division is much like ESPra.de's stage 5, really.(what kind of goals are we talking about or do you have to beat 5.1 to get to 5.2)?
I have a shiny ingot for anyone that can tell me the criteria for triggering the stage 3 extend!

Doesn't seem to be. I could be missing a sneaky turret somewhere, though.
Woo. Sent them an email and they replied with a tracking number. It's nearby - should be delivered sometime today. Hooked up my jps2 and dusted off my joystick. Perhaps the pain that DOJ inflicted on me will be mitigated by the soothing transexual transformations of Galuda

I thought it was easier too, but I didn't know if it was the game or just my lucky day.Originally Posted by Mode7

Fucking fun.
Thems my impressions.
More later, that was first run. Buttons were all screwed to hell.

Ahh... this feels nice. I liked DDP:DOJ, especially the intensity of Black Label, but I just can't grasp the bullet mechanics of DDP for some reason. Maybe it's just slower, maybe the bullets line up in some fashion that appeals to me more, maybe it's just easier in some patterned way, but I always liked ESP RaDe more then the DDP series. In DOJ I had to rely more on timing to make it through spreads whereas I can weave my way through ESPs'. From the minute I started playing ESP Galuda it immediately felt like ESP RaDe's bullet mechanics and I was in love.
The game is definately easier then ESP RaDe, considering how long it took me to one credit a path to stage 3 on RaDe compared to doing so my first time playing Galuda. I've noticed the bosses change difficulty depending on some factor that I'm currently unaware of, and the harder level is definately more like the prequel. I'm also a huge fan of this continuing trend of allowing specific level runs in home ports of shooters, and now we even get it divided with bosses?! Hell yeah!
The game probably uses rank if the bosses differ, and I wasn't aware that black label was included in DOJ![]()
