That's one of the most beautiful RPGs ever. The character design is nice, and works well with the pseudo-cel shading.

both games were developed by level 5, so it's certainly no coincidence.

It does indeed "look" very good indeed, I did not know that the people that did Dark Cloud 2 are doing this though, that just kinda injured my interest. I have never played a Dragon Quest game but this one looks cool, and I doubt it plays like DC2 but who knows.
