I never had the privilege of actually owning a Genny, but from what I've played on emu, I certainly missed out on a ton of stuff. I've been meaning to get a real Genny one of these days.
Streets of Rage 3 - I thought it was better than 2, but the general consesus seems to disagree. They're both better than the original though that's for sure. Why the fuck hasn't Sega released part 4?
Revenge of Shinobi - Joe Musashi's cool and that's all there is to it. I prefer the gameplay-style of the Arcade games, but I can see why they decided to go for what they did when it came to making an original game.
Rolling Thunder 3 - Where's the RT love? I found this to be better than the Genesis port of the second game and less frustrating too.
Contra Hard Corps: Yes, it's a bit more difficult compared to Alien Wars, but the multiple characters adds a bit of variety (even if most end up using the Bill Rizer-clone more than anyone else) and the multiple endings are nice too.
Sonic the Hedgehog 3 + Knuckles : Can't have a Genny list without Sonic. I like Sonic 3 out of the three, but it's pretty incomplete without Sonic & Knuckles.
Gunstar Heroes: It lives up to it's hype, but I still like Contra better though.
Castlevania Bloodlines: I think this game did a nice job blending the Castlevania mythos with Stoker's novel
I can't think of three more games worthy enough to be on the list, so it's just a Top Seven for now. I haven't played enough though, I need to try out some of the RPGs availble on the console.
I think the thing that turned me off the most about the Genny was the amount of useless add-ons and I'm not talking about the 32X like that shitty Activator. And Menacer had like what? A total of two games? At least Nintendo supported the Super Scope. I still want a Genny though.
