According to this article from GameSpot, LucasArts just canceled Full Throttle: Hell on Wheels.
I was looking forward to this game, as there haven't been many adventure games like this in recent years. I wouldn't mind if they merely delayed the game to ensure a higher quality product, but this article says that they're ceasing development altogether. What a shame.

It didn't LOOK so bad, but I too had a lot of apprehensiveness towards this game. I think they got off on the wrong foot not making it an actual adventure game anyway.
Well, that sucks. Hopefully we will still see Ben and friends again someday.
Also-they BETTER be making Sam and Max an honest to goodness adventure game or I will behead the developers before they even decide to can it and Frog can do the decapitating. Wait..Yeah I think that's right.
