The XIII demo is out

I just noticed the PC demo for Ubi Soft's cel-shaded FPS XIII is out.

I just got it and gave it a quick play through. I really enjoyed what I did play of. Quick paced, and very nice looking. Seems like the type of FPS I can get into so my frothing demand has of course, only increased.

I'm going to download it tonight, and give it a try. The style of the game looks pretty outrageous and original. Heard that demo had some problems though, but I will have to wait till I try it myself.

I tried the demo last night, and I had a good time with it. It's probably the most stylish FPS I've played yet, and the intro beach level is absolutely killer. The military level included with the demo was a little bland, but overall I have fairly high hopes for the game. It isn't revolutionary, but it's fun.

Exactly. Stylish as hell. When you get a headshot with the throwing knives, you'll see three frames pop up detailing the knive's entrance into the enemy's skull.

Nice visuals, and I'm amazed that I can get this game running at over 20 fps on my P3 600... When the game requires an 800. Hm.

Anyway, it seems fun. I'd suggest downloading it.
