Price of the MSX version:

I bought one for $350 without the save disk and without the registeration cards.

I bought another one for MUCH higher price with everything.

However, before I bought mine, I found a collector that had one and I offered him $3,000.00 for it and he decline because it wasn't enough money for it.

I also know of a person that paid $300 and another that paid $75 for it.

It all depends on how lucky you get.

Hell, I would easily pay $1,500 but not for the one that was on eBay because that one was a bootleg made from the DemiForce translation.

Didn't see these until now... nice! Very cool. How different is the game from the NES one? Something tells me it could have a lot of improvements, but I imagine not nearly as many as the WonderSwan and PS1 versions, heheh.

Didn't see these until now... nice! Very cool. How different is the game from the NES one? Something tells me it could have a lot of improvements, but I imagine not nearly as many as the WonderSwan and PS1 versions, heheh.

It's very similar to the NES one except it has MUCH better colors on the backgrounds, enemies, characters and world map (the castles and towns look much better now). It uses the same sprites though, so it's just a color upgrade, but the downside is that the scrolling is horrible, it jerks up and down as you move. It's not just an emulator issue, it does it on the actual MSX machine. It's not the drastic upgrade that the WSC version received. (Still great though...)

As for arguing, I agree, people got really pissed because I commented that I had the SNK Vs. Capcom bootleg because the regular version is not released yet. It ended in that thread and it should stay there.

Also, I've decided to get rid of my ENTIRE collection, so if there was anything FF that you ever wanted, contact me soon before it goes on eBay.

Get rid of it after all that time and money? If I did something like that I'm not sure I could bring myself to do it with threat of losing my life or a loved one or some such.
