I figure it's ok to troll, so I'm going to do it quite a bunch now. I've realized there's no penalty for my actions, and if everyone else can do it, I'll have fun with it.

But out of respect to Werewolf, there's no point in keeping it in this thread.

Marcelox, why the scrolling the MSX version? Was it a hardware problem?

  2. Man, now I really want the MSX FF... even if does have the crappy MSX1 scrolling problems. It's pretty crazy that MicroCabin did the port, too.. What're they up to these days.... (investigates)

Edit: Investigation ended. Results: Tragic. It appears that they're up to making scheduling software for Japanese PCs.

I'm moving to Santa Monica on July in 2004. If you can wait until then, I'll be more then happy to meet you in person, a real Fight Club, not some moronic verbal fight club. I used to fight for money when I was a teenager, so if you want to fight, let me know, I'll PM you then (trust me, I won't forget, I'll mark it down on my Fiancee's schedule book). We could even make it interesting, I'm willing to put $500-$1000 down and winner takes all the cash (of course you'd have to match whatever amount I put down. I'm also a fair fighter, so if you win, you can walk away with the money without worrying about revenge.) Think about it.

I have to, I'm getting married and this habit costs me around $10,000 to $20,000 a year. I can't keep doing it and if I keep what I have, it'll be a reason for me to buy new things, so it all has to go.

Actually, it was a programming issue. If you play other MSX games, the scrolling is never a problem, it's usually smooth. But Microcabin either was lazy and made it like that to save time or they simply did not know how to code the game to scroll smoothly. It's not the biggest let-down, the game still looks great, but once you're on the airship, forget it, the bad scrolling could even made you sick. It's all good though

Hey Walsh, if you really want the MSX version, I have another copy of it coming from Japan in the next few weeks. I'll be more than happy to sell it to you, just don't expect it to be cheap. It cost me a lot of money and I only bought it to sell in and make a profit. If you're interested, let me know. If not, it's cool. I'll just put it on eBay.

You're fucking kidding me, right? Offering up a *real* Fight Club. Dude, grow up. I dont see why you feel the need to offer to fucking fight everybody who says anything to you (this is probably the third time you've done so, in 15 posts)... but it's pretty damn funny.

No I do not want to fight you. There's more to life than Final Fantasy and violence, man... WAR OF WORDS OMG!!!

Dude, a verbal fight club is so cowardly. I merely offer anybody that really wants to act tough, the opportunity to act tough in real life, instead of hiding behind a PC. Also, of course there is much more to life than Final Fantasy and violence, my life is quite satisfying, but a man to man physical confrontation is in our most primal instincts. A good hard fight teaches you a lot and makes you a stronger person, now you tell me what's wrong with that? Besides, I just offered, you don't have to fight me in real life, but I refuse to fight you in a online fight club.

Anyway, I have no beef with you, you came into this thread and started with me, remember that...

BTW, I'm not offering to fight you to be an asshole or anything like that, I've had quite a few people take me up on the offer, there were a some no shows, but the ones that showed up put up good fights, I even got destroyed in one fight, I ended up in a hospital over-night. Was I pissed, no, I learned to not under-estimate people because of that fight (the guy was barely 5 feet tall and not muscular at all, yet he gave me the beating of my life). Another guy in philadelphia accepted my fight and he lost, I bought him a beer afterwards and we've been friends ever since, everytime I go to Philly, he meets up with me and we hang out. See my point? And these were all people that hid behind their PCs talkin' shit and they got an opportunity to act like real men and there's nothing more satisfying than proving to yourself that you are able to defend your words if need be. It's not as barbaric as it seems. Just keep that in mind and if you ever want to fight me, just drop me a line.

It's a place to take personal trash-talking so it doesn't clutter the main boards. As in: this needless part of the discussion needs to be there, not here.

But hey, if my arm ever gets around to healing and you're somewhere close I'll fight you. Not for any real reason, I just think it'd be fun.

  8. I don't want to sound rude, but please keep the rest of that discussion out of this thread... I don't want this thread to end up in Fight Club
