Thread: Burnout 3

  1. fuck this game.

i locked up 4 fucking times in one hour, just trying to join games with people on my friends list. "unknown room" over and over and over. when i finally joined a game, there seemed to be a 50/50 shot of the room being automatically shut down after a race.

    what a piece of shit.

edit: does this happen in EA's ps2 games? ssx3's online mode was horrible, but i just chalked that up to rushed development.

Is that why you didn't come when I invited you to a game?

We had a good race too, me and Dipstick.

14 minutes, me and him were withing 2 seconds of eachother at the end. Everyone else sucked.

  5. i don't understand the point of clinging to a terrible online service that is apparently built on top of a far superior one. seriously, the entire interface is a disaster. it's like my xbox is emulating a ps2. i mean, text messages? a master server browser?

  6. Best is Optimatch.

You have a 1/30 chance of getting in a game and a 29/30 chance of getting "No space for you, you dumb bastard!".

  7. I haven't got kicked from a game or diconnected yet.

Granted I've only done 5 races, but still, I'm at 100% success so far.

  8. EA has the WORST customer service ever !!! I emailed there tech support line with assistance on the vibration feature. After 2-3 emails of them claiming that I am lying that vibration feature doesn't work. I get a response:

"We have heard reports of this and are still investigating"

This game is defective and EA admits this..the vibration feature on the game is non functional and is not supposed to be this way. I asked whats there resolution to this issue..and the respond by saying:

"More then likely the store you bought it at will not accept the return because the box has been opened. In this case, you can send the game back to our Warranty department and we will give you a sealed copy of the game so that the store will accept the return."

Doesn't this game need a recall..so it can replaced with a working copy with ALL features working.

Oh yeah EA charges a $7.50 handling fee for this transaction. Hell no...EA is not gettin a single dime out of me. Tiger Woods sucks, Need for Speed Underground sucks..and freakin EA TRAXX feature really really sucks. Go to hell EA...
