True, but best graphics. I really gotta finish that, I think I"m close to hell where I left off.

HL2 is the only game that I can see beating out BO3 for my GotY.

Yeah, it is. I've been having a bitch of a time with that one. It's like a 2:30 lap, you have to be boosting almost the entire time, and you can't afford to crash even once. Plus, the F1 car has a bigger tendency to spin out on drifts and turns than cars in other classes. It's frustrating.

  4. Weird stuff trying to get through to you guys on Live. My boot screen shows (e.g.) Mzo, Chux, Mech Deus, and Korly online in Burnout 3. Great. I fire up the game, and suddenly Mech and Korly don't appear online (yes, going back to the boot menu shows they are still in fact online, playing Burnout 3). Mzo and Chux are shown to be playing "tnl." Regardless, I can't join the game, although it could have been a two-player game I suppose.

Anyway, my first attempts at EA's hijacked Live experience have not gone well.

Also, the game doesn't seem to be Live aware -- a huge oversight. Oh yeah, and what's with the lame text messages for friends? Did they forget that everyone with Xbox live has voice? No big deal, but these are all backward steps from Live games we've been playing for months now.

The game itself kicks ass. I'm just craving some Live play.

K, Prince... Mech and Korly are showing up as ALWAYS online... no clue why. They just are. So don't trust that.

Me, Chux, and Opaque were playing in a room called tnl in East 2. You have to be in the right server to connect to a friend's game, but there no way to really tell what server they're on once they're playing.

Just hit me up on AIM or MSN when you want to play, my PC is right next to my TV so I can coordinate a time and place or whatever.

Let's pretend I don't use a computer for anything other than writing legal briefs, surfing TNL, and downloading porn.

With that in mind, what am I supposed to do?

You can send mail through BO3 itself, or just invite me to dashboard chat so we can set something up*.

*keeping in mind that I am leaving to fix my glasses and buy Pokémon, and probably won't be on again until late tonight, of course.

  8. So very, very wierd. I guess whenever I'm on and see someone else I'll just mail you guys since EA thinks I'm some ghost in the machine.

  10. ...

I had just failed a Super Road Rage challenge (where you have to take down 24 cars!) and hit restart when my custom soundtrack paused for a split-second, the game said "Banana," and then my music kicked back in. I'm a little scared.

I think it sounded like the announcer so it was probably (not sure because he's been turned off since the first day) just some random glitch involving him but it was still damned wierd.
