Anyone seen this movie? I'm trying to get Sapphire to see it and I wanted some other people to confirm the hilarity of this beatific example of cinema.

For those who don't know, it's the movie that they used a clip from at the end of the Daily Show - the guy smashing that guy's head Gallagher style.

tons of people here love it. i'm in the minority. it has it's moments though.

Funniest. Movie. Ever.

It does get boring at times but it doesn't take long for it to pick up again. The only thing that got me was the ending:
Where he breaks through a prison wall and lets all the inmates free...

His idea of justice is letting murderers and rapists go free?

maybe it's the injustice of the prison system that makes his freeing the killers and rapists a justifiable thing?

...which still makes no sense, but a lot of it didn't.

I love The Story of Ricky.

And about freeing the prisoners, remember the text in the bgeinning. people actually like to stay in jail in the future times. Why? Well it doesn't say.

There was an anime OVA series but it sucked so bad I try to forget it. Almost no gore(Only 1 scene in the very veyr beginning), the gang of 4 was limited to 2 guys(Actually I think it was just the fruitcake), the warden doesn't turn into the huge buff guy. Arg it sucked. It did go beyond where the movie ended but I've yet to even watch the rest of the tape. =/

I love this movie. Its extremely campy, but the gore level is high, hero got cool thing going on and villians are outrageous, especially The Warden at the end. It has some boring parts, and story is not what you will call smart, but these flaws doesnt make it less entertaining.
