The Wire

Never heard of it, until a few months back.

Watched most of Season 2, and the finale tonight, but haven't seen any of Season 1.

Great series and highly reccomended.

One of you here surely must repsect The Wire.

If not, I weep unfathomable tears for each and every one of you.

I didn't get into it... mainly because I was unfairly compairing it to that other HBO series that takes place in Baltimore and deals with drugs.

Its called The Corner, Charles Dutton directed it, and its brilliant.

But, this was written by one of the guys that did that, Ed Buns (not the actor).

The Corner = 9/10
The Wire = 9.1/10

Shit, you are from the area, take some time and watch the first 2 seasons of The Wire.

I know you'll like it if you like The Corner.

The Corner was amazing. Sad, too, how they would show that junkie guy as a kid and how his life was so hopeful, and they they'd go back to the present where's he's still living with his momma and he's stealing plumbing pipes from underneith people's houses to sell for drug money.

The Wire was okay. I liked how it had several of the actors from Oz in it.

I started watching The Wire after hearing about all the acclaim it was getting. I liked the 3 or so episodes I saw, but not enough to watch more. HBO has several shows that I'd much rather watch.
