He's got a bow and wings and he's a mythical Medusa-Slayer. Any of the other kid wannabes ever slay a medusa. Probably not.

I'll go with Alex Kidd, if only because he is the most gay looking of a list of exceedingly gay looking characters. And that's cool.

Argh, such a tough call between Alex Kidd and Kid Icarus...I'm gonna have to give it to Alex Kidd, though, he had more games to his name than Kid Icarus did, and they were all good like Icarus'.
