This is not like the Zelda thing, where they're keeping close track of the bonus discs, I got mine when I pre-ordered Wrestlemania XIX.

Went to EB to preorder and pick up one of these discs, unfortunately they had run out already... I went ahead and put my 5 bucks down so that when they get some more I can pick one up.

It remains to be seen if I'm actually going to pay off the rest to pick up RS3 though. I'll get it eventually, sure, but there are a LOT of games coming out soon that I need to get, and the RS3 demo I played was the hoth foot mission, which I didn't care too much for. Maybe the demo that's included in the preorder will change my mind.

They did finally have the NGPC packages, but I didn't have the cash for it at the time. Bummer.

...I just got back from pre-purchasing 9 games- I'm all set for the end of 2003

The Arcade game is a perfect emulation of the original- complete with the digitized voices. I actually like playing with the GCN controller over the arcade.

As for the Rebel Strike demo:

I think the 1983 Star Wars arcade game holds up incredibly well, although home versions aren't quite the same without the arcade controller.

I haven't played the Mac version but it looks like a port made from the ground up. I assume this bonus disc is actual emulation of the arcade game, so it's probably much better.

The game runs much faster than I recall the arcade one doing. Good Stuff!


I have the C-64 version of the game and it's pretty faithful, but lacks the voice tracks.



I picked up my disk today, with a $10 reserve. The guy at Gamestop said he was'nt supposed to give out the disk, until Rogue Leader 3 was released, but he said that was a stupid idea, as that would defeat the whole purpose of a demo disk.

You like the Gamecube version better than the arcade? I'm kind of surprised, I decided after I played it that it's arcade all the way for me. Combine a love of vector graphics with the pinpoint control of the arcade version and, though I'm glad to own this, I'll stick with playing stand-up when possible. Or sit-down, if I could only find one of those...

My local GS pulled this shit when I bought RE0. I had no idea they were even giving away a demo with the preorder. They game me the preview DVD when I picked up the game. I just looked at the guy like "what the hell good is this now?"

They can be so stingy with their swag sometimes. You practically have to bribe it out of them even when you've reserved the game.
