Thread: New GAMESTM scores

  1. I played the Mute City track in F-Zero and it was painfully dull. Race on a straight track while going fast, although it doesn't even seem that fast. No thanks.
Wait, you mean to tell me that the introduction track intended to help people get used to the controls is simplistic? Gee, why ever could that be?

No, it's because that score smacks of HardK0r3 grandstanding, but without Gamefan's saving grace of multiple viewpoints. You simply can't tell me that it's not among the very best, if not the best game in its genre. And given how competitive that genre is, a 7 is just silly. I haven't read their rationale, but I don't see what a legitimate one could be.

Another complaint. People have been saying how amazing the graphics are, but when another race gets 10 feet in front of you, why do they turn into a sparkling object? LAAAAAAME!

  4. Hah! Nice one Weeman.

I've never even heard of the magazine but out of the ones they scored, I would have given SC2 a 8.5 or 9/10 since its on par with VF4 in multiplay with friends.

I'm pleased with the F-Zero GX score as 2 of the EGM guys broke under the pressure of GX.

  5. forgive me for having my own opinion! JEEZ!!11

i will say that i'm not a big fan of racing games, but midtown madness 3 is hella fun!!!1

  6. Does anywhere besides Barnes and Noble carry this mag? I've checked the only 2 BaN around me and I can't find it.
