Thread: Simpsons Hit and Run *official*

  1. Hehe, oh, and the game is out now, or something.

  2. I was almost going to buy it today but I coulnt pull the trigger. I ended up just getting the new OPM. I figured with my SOCOM 2 beta coming in the next week or so and with Freedom Fighters actually being good I'll hold off. Maybe if my store does a buy 2 get 1 free in the future I will.

I would have to completely and utterly disagree with you sir.
How is playing a game for 10 hours not "really playing" the game

i think 10 hours is a pretty damn good amount of time to know weither or not you like a game or not or its gameplay style

anyway ontopic i tried the game out at work
its ok but for me personally its a 20 dollar game at best and just isnt worth 50

  5. Oh, it's good. Lots of funny dialogue, though I'm sure later on some of the driving stuff will be repeated to death. The races that go on a long time are very fun. You don't seem to have that really good control sense that you do in GTA, but I'm just starting so maybe it's just me. One gripe is that you can't explore interiors that much, I wanted to walk all around the Simpsons home but could only walk around in a bit of the living room. Anyways, NOTHING beats running around Springfeild as Homer wearing his mumu

  6. The game is cool. Much more funny that GTA3...but unfortunatly it emulates GTA3 perfectly, complete with eventual boredom.

I like it a lot, and just the fact that it's Springfield might keep me interested, but this couldn't have come at a worse time; right on the heals of P.N.03, FFTA, Boktai, Otogi...you get the picture.

  7. I picked it up today on an impulse buy.

So far I'm in the 3rd set of levels (Lisa. FLOREDA!) and I'm actually pretty sick of the repetitive driving missions. Oddly enough, I could really careless. It's still funny as hell and I still want to keep going to explore everything and complete everything.

I'm pretty happy I got it. If you're a simpsons fan, you'd be doing a great diservice to yourself by passing it up.

  8. I'm only on the first level, but I'm taking my sweet time to explore, and liking what I see. They've done a pretty good job of ripping off GTA. The audio and dialogue is worth the price of admission, but there's a competent game behind it. If anyone is in New York, 32nd St. Games has it for $43.

  9. Mine still hasn't arrived yet. I will never preorder from KB ever again.

  10. I'm tempted to buy this but my brother said he's going to buy it so I think I'll wait and see. I'll probably get FFTA or wait until Viewtiful Joe. I also want to check out Otogi.
