    That might suffice
The game can be beat in about 3 hours on Easy mode, but I suggest you start on Normal mode. It's just more fun that way.

As Click_Stick would say "Level 5 !!" for REZ, I'll say "Level 4 !!" for P.N.03 It's aaaaaalll about the mad shootout at the end of the level.

    Level 4 !!

    MechDeus, great avatar. Classic.

P.N.03 is a fucking fantastic game. As soon as the credits finished rolling after I completed Easy mode, I instantly started a new game on Normal and played for another hour or two. I don't think I've done that with any game, ever.

One of the best games released in 2003, and one of the best 3D action games ever. Period.
Ever? Wow man, i mean i was REALLY looking forward to it. And although IGNCube shares the exact same impression i have on games, but i found it clunky in the beginning. I'm still giving it a shot

For me, yes. I can't remember many other 3D all-action no-exploration-whatsoever run-and-gun games that come close to this. Sin and Punishment and a few others are there, but 3D action this fast and well-done is a rare breed.

  5. Playstation Contra?

    Probably not, eh?

  6. I dunno, I played the demo in Best Buy and I found the controls to be really sluggish and unresponsive. Who knows, maybe it does have the GunValkyrie syndrome and I just have to play it more...

  7. Kabuki, you don't suck. To unlock the Blackbird you need to purchase every other Aegis in the game, and then beat it. You probably just left a suit or two unpurchased.

To unlock the Papillion you need to finish the game one more time with the Blackbird in your suit selection. It's just like the Blackbird, but with certain areas of suit missing, showing skin in it's place.

I recomend giving the training missions an extensive workout. It's the only way you can buy all the suits in a single play-through.

A suit or two? LOL, try seven!
I'm about halfway through Normal mode now and only have 3 suits (but one is the expensive pink one). I'll take your advice and work the training levels for extra cash. Thanks for the tips on getting the extra suits

One question - how does one successfully beat a training level? I did it once (and it unlocked Training Mission 2), but don't know what I'm doing wrong all the other times. Also, are there 5 training levels specific to each in-game mission?

    Thanks in advance,
    - Kabuki

  9. Yeah! What now, Mr. Caterpillar?! The tables have turned and your ass is mine now!

On a related note: New suits! Related to that: *looks at price* EEK! But they look so cool, I must have!

You have to get the ranking "Professional" to get the next Training Mission. To get that, clear out at least most of the rooms (possibly all), get mostly No Hit Clears, and move fast. I'm up to Training Mission 3 and then went back to number 1 for getting easy cash, although that seems pointless now since you can get 10,000+ from chaining a large room of 11 enemies which they don't give you in the first one.

Hm, you might just have to clear all the rooms to get Professional, because I just got it for one level while sucking in every catorgory. And yes, there are different sets of Training Missions for each level. Makes me wish I had finished the other ones before finding this out.
