No, this isn't the 3-D KOF (as far as I know). That was the real time RPG computer game, and we haven't heard a thing out of it in almost a year. It must have sucked, but I didn't play the demo.

No, you're thinking of KOF Online. KOF3D was officially announced at E3 and it's console only (PS2) so this has nothing to do with it.

Reading the various reports makes it sound as if KOF2k3 was originally made on the MVS and is being ported to the Atismov... whatever. Of course I have no idea how accurate all these scattered reports are, but might have to wait for 2k4 to see Mai jiggle in high rez.

There must be some kind of NG-DC/DC-NG porting convention there; Potchi to Nyaa was originally developed for Naomi and became a NG game.

But the users probably want Capcom characters moving in Guilty Gear's graphics, so it would be good if we can create it with that kind of a touch. Personally, I'd like to see Vampire (known as Darkstalkers in the US) characters moving in that art style.

Sammy has a couple of games I want really bad in the works, this and that new Berserk game... not to mention that Seven Samurai game looks pretty good too
