Thread: Kill Bill Official Full Trailer-Gory Pics- 2 KickAss Bootleg Trailers - My Review !!

  1. I think this was mentioned before, but I noticed something after seeing it again. I think the guy in white with the sword in the anime part is Bill. Bill was a Hanzo Hattori student, and Hanzo makes a sword for The Bride. In the final fight between The Bride and O-Ren, there's a close-up of the hilt with a demon insignia. It's the same insignia on the guy in white's ring.

As for cutting the movie in half, I like it. The first one is enough for me, thank you. Plus, the discussion and theories about what happens in the final movie is all part of the fun.

Damn, So poor Sophie gets both arms hecked off. Too bad QT didnt keep it in US release.
She does shout "GIVE ME YOUR OTHER ARM!" in the movie, but I figured she was just trying to freak her out. Turns out I was very wrong.

  3. ...

I got the impression that she cut off more than that because of comments she made. Did she also cut off her breasts as well?
"50,000! You scored 50,000 points on Double Dragon?"

  4. Hmm, I dont think she did that. At least in all comments by the people who seen Asian cut of KB, they only mentioned the other arm cut.

  5. ...

I don't think they ever showed it, but it seemed like they alluded to it -- saying something like she lost something even more valuable to her...

  6. More on Japanese version:

"Definately is much better in full color. I've seen it in black and white and I must say that its disgusting in B&W. Fulll colour was truly amazing. On top of that the fights are longer. All of them, especially the showdown at the house of blue leaves. You don't even get to see certain takes in the North American one. There are longer takes of goriness and blood spilling.

    SPOILER

After she pulls the eye out, it goes black and white in the North American release. Well, it stays full color and then she makes a guy eat the eyeball and then you see a shot of her reaction after he eats it. Also it goes back to color when she blinks right?? Well you don't see her blink at all in the Japanese version. It just cuts right before she blinks and also Sofie Fatale gets mutilated even more. Its pretty brutal. But either way, its too bad North Americans have to watch it in the censored way. Cuz the fullly uncut version is truly amazing. I love this movie!!! "

  7. Interesting, thanks Despair.

    I agree, try downloading:

    10. Don't let me be Misunderstood - Santa Esmeralda

It's like 10 minutes long! But it's probably the best version of this song, better than the original by the Animals, or the remake by Elvis Costello.

  9. I loved it when O-Ren is like, "That must be a Hanzo Hattori sword" after The Bride lops the top of her head off. Yeah, like only a Hanzo Hattori sword could cut her Adamantium head or something...

I'm noting this in this post as I think this is definitely an interesting way to introduce a character indirectly. If O-Ren's story is told non-anime then it is instantly spoiled that is Bill. Done this way however this scene works more than one way... as well as later coming back into play in Vol. 2. Being that this is Bill, I would also speculate that its him that befriends O-Ren and trains her.
    I'm not really sure on after my second viewing of the film;
    1. Both Bill and the White-Suited-Killer's rings are completely different.
    2. The White-Suited-Killer's sword does not have the mark of Hanzo (the chinese style lion), the only thing it does that may show it is "Hanzo Steel" is that it resonates like the Bride's and Bill's, which are the only swords that do resonate (that high pitch hum emitted by the sword when they are held still).

    Some cool things I noticed:
    1. Sophie's second arm (or hand) IS taken in the English version. You just hear a really quick sound bite amongst all the dialogue in that scene of "Give me your hand, Ahhhhhhhhhhh".
    2. The "phone beads" on Gogo's dagger ^_^
