OK, so, I rented Unlimited SaGa again, just to make sure I was being fair in my initial assesment...and it really isn't all that bad once you understand what's going on. It's really just like a regular RPG except the overworld map navigation has been replaced with "tile hopping." It really isn't so bad, and there are far worse titles out there.

and the story has been replaced with completely inane nonsequitirs, and the character designs have been replaced with complete shit, and the battle system has been replaced with bizarre, tedious nonsense, and everything has been replaced with about 20 menus...

ugh.

Is the plot even remotely decent? Cause I've always liked the plots in Saga Frontier... Saga Frontier had really good writing.

It is actually pretty cool, it comes in a big hard bound case that is a artbook and it also comes with a soundtrack CD, the two good things in the game... and then it also comes with the game

I'll take a couple of pics later, it is really very nice looking

They vary, some are eh and others are pretty good... but the whole gameplay is completely boring and the battle system isn't much better
