I think the titles are fine. They suit the music well. Speaking of which, here's the tracks I enjoyed the most. I was able to upload more than 20MB for whatever reason, so yay:

Apparently the disc was handed out in limited quantities around TGS, and the tracks were ripped and put up by the Castlevania Dungeon here. You'll have to go through Fileplanet to get them there, though.

I think they sound pretty nice in general, and they get better with repeated listens, but they lack the instant catchiness that I've come to associate with Castlevania music. They evoke the atmosphere very well, but I don't like them nearly as much as music from earlier games.

The three Aria of Sorrow tracks on the disc are the same arrangements KCET posted on their Japanese site in WMA format. Good stuff.

Sound wise they're more akin to SotN than the original Castlevania games. Great music, great atmosphere, but you won't be instantly into it like when you hear "Vampire Killer" start up. Great music regardless... 6 days to go.

Oh and if anyone downloads track 1 and is bothered by the distortion at the start of the track, don't worry... it's only on track 1, the rest are fine.

Darn, I wish Gamestop had that deal. I paid my reserve copy off in full a month ago. Gamestop never has any good bonuses. It seems it's always EB that does.

On that note, I'm a bit ticked off. As I said above, I paid CV:LOI off in full, including tax a month ago. Anyhow, we recently had a small sales tax hike. Even though I paid it off in full before that went into effect, I was told I'd have to pay the remaining cost in tax due to it. I think that's a bit lame since I paid it off tax and all before that went into effect. Maybe I'm wrong here, but shouldn't that already be considered a bought game and thus, I shouldn't be required to pay the additional tax on it?

I'm not sure, but I think they don't give you a final sale receipt until you actually pick up the game. I believe they ring the game in at that point, and the sales tax hike will be factored in at that point. At least that's how it works at EB Canada. Although, when I picked up my prepaid copy of Viewtiful Joe, the store manager returned $7.50 to me. That would be the tax on a $49.99CDN game.

I'm really liking these tracks.. sounds vintage Castlevania, but with a pretty futuristic edge.
